Our services range from onsite, referral, and outreach (home-based) programs. We provide culturally safe, appropriate interventions and mental healthcare-specific services. In addition, the centre supports research and advocate for policies that eliminate systemic inequities and inequalities in accessing mental health and healthcare services.
What We Do
CMRH mental health services delivery reduces hospital admissions or readmissions to those with a history of ongoing psychiatric issues or manifested mental illness risks. In addition, our teamwork is collaborative with our clients in a conducive and healthy environment applying equitable treatment and rehabilitation consistent with evidence-based approaches.
Evidence shows that mental health promotion, education, and care received at home or in a community in a coordinated fashion attracts most patients or clients to participate in prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation services. Through our practical resolutions in education campaigns, outreach programs, telemental health, clinic-based referral to culturally appropriate and mental healthcare-specific services or group-based interventions, you will have access to our team, including mental health workers/clinicians, psychiatrists and groups, free of charge/cost.
CMRH deploys frameworks, monitoring and evaluation tools to assess our sophisticated mental healthcare services to improve health outcomes and quality of life for clients, their carers and family members. Furthermore, we strengthen our work on building solid community resilience and skills to manage mental health issues or concerns to prevent frequent hospitalisations.
Our preventive strategy supports research and advocates for the policies that eliminate systemic inequities and inequalities in accessing healthcare, housing, education, and employment opportunities that sustain a family or individual functioning, perceived wellbeing and quality of life, and increased self-esteem.
